The San Francisco Nob Hill Gazette has published yet another award winning article, and the title says it all: “Award Winning”!

Actually, the article is focused on Lynn’s recent  receipt of a Guggenheim Fellowship award. Chérie Turner, editor of the Gazette and author of the article, also provides some much-welcomed  information and reflection on Lynn’s upcoming film Women Art Revolution:

Hershman Leeson was inspired to create the film after assessing the hours of footage she had of video interviews she’d conducted over the decades with “people who just passed through my living room,” she says—people, women, who are pioneers in feminist art, of which she is an integral part as well. Hershman Leeson had unwittingly captured the history of the movement.

So, TVYM to the Nob Hill Gazette. We think they deserve an award for their award-wining mention. Don’t you?

OMG! Next week is almost here and we haven’t sent out our thank you’s. So we have invented a new kind of post which we are calling a TYVM Omnibus (where  TYVM = “Thank You Very Much”).

The first TYVM goes to the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, which awarded Lynn a fellowship in April, for publishing a short biography of Lynn on their web page.

Soon after the award was announced, a number of web sites wrote posted to congratulate Lynn. These include The University of Californis Press, The California Aggie, UC Davis News & Information,  Creative Capital,  and Critical Mass.  TYVM to all!
