Yet Another Award Winning Mention
The San Francisco Nob Hill Gazette has published yet another award winning article, and the title says it all: “Award Winning”!
Actually, the article is focused on Lynn’s recent receipt of a Guggenheim Fellowship award. Chérie Turner, editor of the Gazette and author of the article, also provides some much-welcomed information and reflection on Lynn’s upcoming film Women Art Revolution:
Hershman Leeson was inspired to create the film after assessing the hours of footage she had of video interviews she’d conducted over the decades with “people who just passed through my living room,” she says—people, women, who are pioneers in feminist art, of which she is an integral part as well. Hershman Leeson had unwittingly captured the history of the movement.
